The Sensory Sensations Fidget Blanket is a great therapeutic resource for all ages. The design of the fidget blanket is similar to a busy board, as each part of the sensory blanket has a unique and interesting texture than can assist in relieving stress, anxiety, boredom or can be used to fidget with.

It is particularly useful for dementia, Alzheimer’s and autism. Designed to stimulate brain activity, the unique textures and designs fabrics, colours, shapes and patterns are sure to grab attention and create strong visual impact for the user.

Keeps people busy for hours as they touch and feel the zippers, beads, sequins, buckles, ribbons, buttons, shoelace and pocket. The accessories help to strengthen and restore patients’ memory, making it an ideal therapy toy for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients.

The fidget blanket is made from premium quality, durable materials designed to withstand constant handling by patients; it can be easily folded into a smaller size that can be packed away, making it very portable, light and easy to carry to any location.   Size is 60cm x 30cm when open.

Note: The flexible and squishy nature of these products means they will not last indefinitely. We’d love them to, but unfortunately they don’t… Depending on use they may last an hour, a week or a year. Generally the gentler you are, the longer they last. All squishy and stretchy items are durable, but not indestructible. These fidgets are made from soft rubbery material, so can be pulled apart – not recommended for kids who require intense sensory input or those who like to pull apart sensory toys. It will not last. These fidget toys are not for heavy work and will burst if squeezed – please consider carefully whether the products are appropriate for you (suitable for light fidgeting only). Do not expose to direct sunlight or near a source of heat. If product comes in contact with skin, nose or eyes wash immediately. If irritation persists, please seek medical attention. Product may stain clothing and carpets. No warranty given on these products. All items checked for faults before posting.

Fabulous sensory squishies

I ordered the Nee Doh cube, and wasn’t sure if I’d like it but it’s fabulous. Firm but still squishable and a great sensory/fidget toy for anxiety, and it’s a great size to be a bit more discreet in public with (plus it fits in my handbag!).
